Student financing is available for EU and EEA students under very specific conditions.

Nationality criteria

Full-time bachelor or master students from one of the countries of the EU/EEA (and Switserland) can apply for one of the following financing options. These options are also open to students from non-EEA countries who meet the nationality criteria of WSF 2000.

Student financing

‘Studiefinanciering’ is the system of student financing, provided by the Dutch government for Dutch students. ‘Studiefinanciering’ consists of a loan and a travel product. Only in some cases students are eligible for a partial grant. The loan can be used for a maximum of 7 years in a period of 10 years. It has to be repaid in 15/35 years.

You can find more detailed information on the DUO website.
