Once you are admitted, you must complete your enrolment as soon as possible. Make sure HKU has received all necessary documents and arrange your payment. Check your email regularly!
Often HKU needs documents to verify your prior education or your identity. If additional documents are needed, you will receive a message from HKU. Check your email regularly. Also check your spam folder.

Arrange your digital payment authorisation via Studielink. The payment option is available as of half May. Your enrolment is only final when you have arranged your digital payment before 1 September in Studielink. HKU will send you a confirmation of enrolment once everything is complete.

Students who need to apply for a residence permit for study will pay the tuition fee in one instalment before the set deadline of the visa application. More information can be found at studentportal.hku.nl/visa&permit
Proof of enrolment
After HKU Academic and Student Affairs has processed your enrolment, you will receive a proof of enrolment and student ID card. If you have not received anything by the end of September, contact HKU Service Desk Student Affairs immediately.
Please note - if you have not submitted a passport sized photo, you will not receive an ID card.
If you decide not to enrol for the next academic year, please withdraw your request for enrolment in Studielink before 1 September. If you have already completed your enrolment you need to cancel your enrolment.
