To complete your payment, you need to finish 2 steps in Studielink before 1 September.
Keep your bank details (IBAN and BIC information) at hand. Also consider whether you want to pay in 1 or 5 instalments.
1 - Enter payment details
Is someone else paying?
When you indicate in Studielink that someone else is paying, you will receive an email confirming this. You must forward that email to the person paying. The person paying needs a personal DigiD. This person must confirm the payment authorisation with his/her own DigiD.
2 - Confirm authorisation
Go back to your To Do list
because your authorisation has not yet been activated. Within a few
minutes you will be asked to confirm your digital payment authorisation.
Check the information carefully before you confirm your payment details. Once you confirmed the authorisation, you can not change the payment details through Studielink anymore.
If you wish to change your payment details, you can still cancel now. Go back to My courses to make changes.
When everything is correct, confirm the digital payment authorisation. Do this immediately! HKU will not collect the tuition fees until around September 25th.

Entering payment details alone is not enough for (re-)enrolment. In your To Do list, the action Confirm your digital payment authorisation
will appear. It may take a few minutes before this action appears. You
might need to reload the page a few times. Click on the link to confirm
your digital payment authorisation.
To modify your payment authorisation you must come to the HKU Service Desk Student Affairs in person. Make sure you have valid identification with you. If someone else is paying for you, then that person must also be present.
